Do you have to apply for them individually or through UAC? (Or are they included in the PhB?)

But on the whole, no, you shouldn't have to apply for any scholarships, they'll just give them to you if you're good enough (they've changed it since I finished high school - back then I had to apply for the National Undergraduate Scholarship, and there was no National Merit Scholarship).
