Hello All!
I really think we need to start some communication in this faculty!

I'm studying 1st year Business Information Systems at Monash Clayton.

Haha, agreed.

We just have to get rid of that stigma that IT is a man's game.

Engineering's been trying for quite a while now...

Generally, yes*. I think it's one or two weeks, but I can't remember haha!

(* your placement supervisor does have a right to make you come in earlier than normal, though. Basically, you start when they tell you to start - but the overall duration will still be 22 weeks (so you finish early) - but this does not happen often).

Don't forget your winter semester too!

Actually the winter semester is not run anymore; the professional communication subject is now offered as a 6 point unit in 1st semester.
