What a fantastic set of results.
I'm not sure with your other subjects, but judging by your contributions to the maths subjects, I wouldn't adjust them.
Congratulations, Synesthetic.

Oh and you seem to be strong in.. everything. (I wish I were :( )

Try like 44ish

edit: Even 44 is kinda generous. Id say 44 tops, but more likely 42-43

Hmm dropping two marks over both exams in methods should give you 50! 49 if you're unlucky I would have thought. (correct me if I'm wrong though)

Well in 2006 losing 6 marks over both spec exams gave 45, last year losing 8 gave you 43 so this year I reckon (was slightly harder than previous years) losing 9 this year maybe 42-43.

English I'm not sure about...26/30 might be a high A (or does it work differently in English)

I reckon for chem maybe 41-42 (but it might've been harder this year with a new course....I'm not sure)

But obviously your estimates are very close and results are outsanding   :)
VCE 2008:
English 49                        Physics 45
Specialist Maths 47           Economics 44
Maths Mathods CAS 50     (2007) Chemistry 46

Aggregate 208.8
ENTER 99.90

Tutoring Methods, Specialist and Chemistry in 2009!
PM me if interested.

Yeah, I did think it was a bit of an overestimate. But well, my school always does extremely well in English, and I think my ranking is relatively high, so I'm anticipating a strong mark for my first two GAs to boost my score. I know it's a bit audacious!

A friend who got 48 in English says he got all 9's for his essays, with a weaker cohort than ours; so with one 8, and what hopefully will be very strong externalised SAC results, I ended up guessing 47 ;D Anyway...we'll see in 23.5 days.

To dekoyl, chid, revel again - thanks heaps :) Good luck with your SS's too.
