Be honest, there is no judgement here. Wagging is nothing to be ashamed of. Everybody does it. Share us any of your past stories, opinions etc. Do you still go wagging? Do you support it? Have you ever been caught?  :police:

Maybe you should make the ranges less wide at the low end
Eg once or twice or 5 times is remarkably different to 24 times :P

I've never wagged before. I'm a bit of a coward.

I'm known to my close friends as the queen of wagging :P

I remember I wagged a whole term of PE classes in year 10 and still got a C for it ... *reminisces*

It is the total amount of times wagged. For example, if you were to go to school and then leave and later come back only for recess and later leave, it would count as two. Thus, you have wagged two times for that day (assuming you don't come back to school).

Because I didnt get anything out of my lectures for 3/4 subjects this semester, I'd rather spend the hour to learn by myself
(except I had to go for some for physics, as they insist on teaching by fill in the gaps on a sheet)

I also didn't go to the revision week lab/tute for IT because they hadn't organised any work to do and basically planned to run it as 'bring your own questions'. Not. Worth. It.

Or if the subject is something stupid like "French culture, cinema and questions of identity" which you definitely do not give a crap about and the lecturer's voice puts you to sleep and if you skipped that lecture you'd get 2 days off a week instead of 1

I mean come on

around 5 times in VCE, if you include years 7-10 then it'd be around 15

wow. i live on campus and i still go to essentially none of my classes (for two of the courses i did in the last semester, i went to a grand total of 4 lectures). the only time i've woken up before 1pm in the last two months was for my exams. uni classes are different from school classes in that
a) you're not obliged to go
b) you're rarely assessed (in lectures, at least)
c) most lecturers put up lecture notes on the intertubes after each lecture
so really, there's very little incentive in going to a lecture unless you don't understand the content otherwise.

i barely wagged school at all - i used to sleep in on wednesday mornings in yr12 when i had a triple study period (which we were supposed to attent - roll call in study periods and all that). and i wagged a friday afternoon once to go to the cricket. and i'd skip RE to go practise music. but in general, i rarely skipped class, just used to talk through them all instead.
