Help!

Whenever I type my password to login into Vista, the entire notebook of Vista will not load. The password goes in and then starts to load...for a second then suddenly there is a blue screen. I tried restarting but nothing works. This is a really recent notebook. Also, before this happened I had installed/used a CD; heinemann textbook electronic.

any help would be great!!  :)
