Thank-you all for participating this year's AN Awards, something the moderation team has brought back from 2010 and something we hope that will be an annual tradition on this amazing website. With over 100 votes, there were many tight finishes. I'd just like to congratulate everyone who got nominated as it means that you've made a big difference to this site, and I'm sure many users would be grateful for your input. From a personal point, it's been great to be able to organise this and I wish everyone the best with school and uni exams! :)

It is with great honour that I announce, for a record 7th consecutive year, the winner of the award for AN sexiest Member as the one and only, Captain_Physics.

Congrats guys! (and thanks too). AN has been a great community to be apart of. I originally was only going to stay for 6 months after VCE (since I was only on AN for 6 months during VCE, so to give back what I got from here). But as you can see I'm still here (stuck here you could say). What I'm getting at is it would be great if a few of you could stay after VCE finishes to help the next bunch of ANer's and keep the great cycle continuing!
Seriously though, well done everyone, good luck for exams :)

Know voting has closed and whatnot, so don't bag me but I just wanted to say that I never realised how much AN would become a part of my year 12 life haha.
I only signed up in April, and in all honesty, I just wanted some Indonesian notes that were on the forum that I had to sign up to get. Okay, so I didn't even end up getting them, the attachment had been deleted / lost when AN upgraded from VN but what I found was a great community where everyone is willing to help (with the addition of some trolling haha but that's to be expected :) ) Without getting too touchy feely, pretty much Serendipity that's all :))
tl;dr ver: glad to be a part of AN!
GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE FOR VCE & UNI EXAMS (or whatever you're up to :D)

A reminder to those who were nominated and did not receive an award and for those who were not nominated at all; please recognize that this does not mean the advice or assistance you give is considered unhelpful. The users in this thread have been recognized for providing exquisite advice for an extended period of time. However, it is of the utmost importance to ensure students are receiving responses from several different viewpoints and this relies on the contribution of many more members than just those who won or were nominated for these awards. Keep up the great work so future students are able to get out of this forum what those before them have :)

Aww yaay! Congratulations too all you guys who won and received an honourable mention! Every single one of you absolutely deserved it!! :D
I just also wanted to say a MASSIVE thankyou to this AN community. You guys are seriously the most supportive, genuinely caring and loving people ever and I am looking forward to putting many names to faces at the upcoming AN meet! Thanks guys, you have made VCE a much more enjoyable process :) LOVE YOU ALL (in a non-creepy way) :P

Yeah, I think this forum has a phenomenal way of "paying it forward". I wouldn't have marked as much as I did through this year if werdna didn't help me score so well last year (I probably wouldn't have realised how helpful it is haha).

BREAKING NEWS: 1,375 Votes went missing from the Ballot Boxes in Western Australia (Where Flor is :P) when we conducted a second recount of the Votes. The other Award nominations are fine and the figures obtained are 100% accurate to that of the first count.
However, 1,375 Votes for the "Scariest Mod" Award, have gone missing in the second count. I have reason to believe that pi has fiddled around with the Votes to make him win the award, but not to show his scariness to the ATAR Notes community.
I hereby call another election date, where all ATAR Notes Members must revote for the "Scariest Mod" award to ensure that the votes are accurately calculated (and no votes go missing this time).
That is all!
