Thinking about it, VCAA and Engage are the only ones that I can think of. There might be others around - I'm not sure - but I assume you've been looking.

Are you struggling with any particular section(s) of the exam? I honestly think the most valuable thing to do is to make your own practice exams.

also give boobook a try! TSFX has a few too!

A couple of great Aussie podcasts about linguistics have popped up recently:

  • Word for Word, produced by the Macquarie Dictionary
  • Talk the Talk, weekly linguistics segment from Perth radio
  • Lingthusiasm, monthly, has an Aussie co-host
  • Inside Story's Inside Language series, with the one-and-only Kate Burridge <3
Such a great place to find contemporary Australian examples for essays  ;D ;D

Love the last three, but I've never heard of the first one. Thanks, EF102!

A new Facebook page that could be interesting to some: https://www.facebook.com/SlanguageOz/.

The description is:

"This page fills you in on exciting discoveries from a Monash University project on the history and evolution of Australian slang.

We're a team of researchers doing the hard yakka to better understand the place of Australian words in our daily lives."
