Title: Can I tell people I got a study score of over 40 scaled?
Post by: Stormbreaker-X on March 01, 2021, 01:36:16 am
Hey guys I got an unusual question, if I scored a study score of 39 and it scaled over 40 can I still tell people I got over 40 study score? Or do I have to say I got 39 and it scaled over 40.

It's ultimately up to you, of course, but I think conventionally you would say either "39 raw" or "40+ scaled". If raw/scaled isn't specified, people are usually talking about their raw scores - so 39 in this case.

EDIT: For tutoring, I think saying 40+ would be disingenuous in a sense unless specified it was the scaled result.
