Six Little Subjects - My journey through the QCE

(1/2) > >>

WiseInvestment:
Hi all.

I'm writing this journal of sorts as a way to document my journey through my 2-ish years of senior schooling here in the beautiful state of Queensland. Currently, I'm beginning Unit 2 of senior schooling (meaning I'll graduate in 2022), taking the following subjects:

* English
* Math Methods
* Specialist Maths
* Legal Studies
* Physics
* Economics
While I primarily want to be able to get some thoughts done on paper (or screen I guess), and be able to look back at my journey when its been and gone, I'd also love to connect with people who are also doing the same things as me, or working their way towards it. I'm counting on you guys to hold me to updating this at least once every few weeks, or as time permits.

Best of luck,
WiseInvestment

Hey WiseInvestment!
Welcome to the forums! It's great to have you here :)
That's an interesting assortment of subjects! Are there any that you are enjoying a lot right now or think will be your favourite going into Units 3 and 4?
I look forward to your next update :)

Glad to be here :)
I kinda chose my subjects in a way to keep my options open (Science, Humanities, Maths), but I definitely have more of an interest in Specialist and Methods rather than Legal Studies and English. There's no subject that has 100% ticked every box for me, but math and economics has done so more than the more literary subjects. Re the interesting assortment, to be fair I am the only person at my school doing that combo of subjects, clearly some people have a thing against specialist math :)

Maths and economics pairs well together. Maths gets such a bad rep but it can be so interesting! I'm definitely glad that I chose to take more maths units in uni than I needed to.
