Guys is Christopher autistic? According to the symptoms on page 60 and 59?

It's been a long time since I read the book (8 years at least), but I remember that Christopher was definitely on the autism spectrum somewhere. Could potentially have Asperger's syndrome, however, the book never explicitly states that IIRC.

I wouldnt say he's "austistic" in an essay more like it is hinted that he is autistics,, say he has "behavioural problems" (as that is said)

He also refers to people like himself as "special people" so he is aware of his difference. When I address it in an essay I usually say he has a difference/disability or is at a disadvantage, or that he is neuro-atypical
