Maths is a bit easy.

I honestly find maths pretty easy. (I can do 3/4 specialist work very easily, and exam questions.) I've even learned some engineering maths which was also pretty easy. (Complex numbers (+exponential form), Taylor series, Integration, hyperbolic functions, Partial Derivatives, Second order differentials, Vectors (cross products, etc.), Matrices (Gaussian elimination etc.), Curvature and so on.)

Do I just do maths normally in vce (methods+spec), or is there some extension thing I can do?

You're absolutely incredible!!  :D :o
Really fantastic hard work already!
I think definitely, you're already so good with your preparation, you'll have a very very confident year doing Methods and Spesh.
Both of them will be really rewarding for you! :)

All I wanted to say was, YOU'RE INCREDIBLE !!  ;D
Have a great VCE ! :)

EDIT: What year are you in?
If you want, you could even do Methods in Year 11 and hopefully you'll score very well and then you can apply for a University Maths course! Gives you bonus points on your ATAR as well! :)

You can apply for uni extension math (you can have a look at the uni’s website to find out more, I believe both Monash and Melbourne and potentially others offer it) :)

Below is my sister replying (not me, I missed out on all the smart genes)
----------------------------
Hello! I was in a pretty similar situation as you before VCE, in year 9 I did a couple of past and sample VCAA questions for methods and spesh and found them pretty manageable without having actually done 1/2 or 3/4 at school. Because of this I ended up doing methods and physics early (methods in year 10, physics in year 11) so now I can focus on my remaining subjects more at year 12, including spesh. Uni extension maths is definitely an option, as an user has already mentioned above - though I don't have any experience doing it as my school didn't allow me. (I'm pretty sure that most Uni extension programs would have certain VCE prereqs, especially for math/science related subjects)

Have you considered doing one (or more) maths/science subject/s early? Because I'm pretty sure you need to first complete at least one VCE subject in order to qualify for uni extension programs in math/science related areas.

One more comment, not exactly related to your original post but VCE isn't just about seeing whether you can get the questions right. I cruised through 3/4 methods in year 10 and ended up with a somewhat decent study score (47), and let my guard down when I did physics and another 3/4 the following year, which didn't end well haha. Totally relate to finding VCE maths simple, but don't misjudge VCE subjects!

Just my 2 cents haha! Side note, what year level are you currently in?

Good luck!

Hey, I'm kind of in the same boat as you (assuming you're in year 9). For me, it's not that I find high school math easy, but I've studied math in my spare time for fun. Unfortunately, Australia doesn't really have good services for acceleration and streaming. The public opinion is still against streaming students, because of our focus on socialisation and friendships. Here's an article on Terrence Tao's education in Australia when he was young. It touches on the difficulties he went through to be accelerated in areas he excelled in.

For me I've been wanting to transfer to JMSS, because I heard they offered acceleration into specialist in year 10 (now I know the acceleration was only for special cases :/). My school already offered acceleration into Methods, but since I have covered the methods course, I knew I'd be just as bored in Methods than I am now in math class. Apart from that, the next extension would be uni extension in year 12. Unfortunately there's not much more for us. I would recommend try find people of similar interest, especially if they know more than you. Then you can extend your knowledge. For me, the only thing I can do for now is to continue to self study. Looking at university math is quite rewarding as well, as they are more abstract than high school math.
