Title: eng ext 1 hsc exam section 1 (common module)
Post by: rirerire on October 07, 2020, 10:38:53 pm
so in this section (literary worlds) we get a stimulus (text 1) and a question (generally have to write a creative?)- it says "use text 1 to answer this question" but I'm confused in that should our creative stem from the stimulus itself, or is it a completely random piece of work. how is our stimulus related to the imaginative we write?

for example a paper we did had an imaginative piece of the world's oldest man describing his personal thoughts and life. the question was use the text to write a piece showcasing a person's public and private life. so how is this piece supposed to be linked to the stimulus???

They would usually get you to explore an idea based of that extract. Normally though, they would give you another text (so text 2) which would be a story, based off all the past papers i've been seeing from other schools
