Does anyone know how common it is for 2nd & 3rd round offers go out each year?
Or have there been years where everyone accepts their 1st round offer, so no other round offers occur?

there are gonna be some ppl who reject admission into one of the four schools. This year I felt as though a lot of people rejected all 4 schools. That might help your chances but don't get your hopes too high.

Disappointed i didn't get an offer. That's why I I'm quietly hoping there may be a 2nd or 3rd round offer. I think offers finish on 22nd December.
My parents have been great. There was never any great pressure from them - iykwim.

Just got told that I was unsuccessful for the first round of offers. Congrats to those who were able to achieve a first round offer, and hopefully people like me get later round offers.

It's a state school, so not too much. I'd say $1,000 - $2,000. Then uniform, books, camps on top of that.
Not as expensive as the private schools (ie. $20k +).

It's the same price as a public school. (Books, Camps, Uniform)
Other fees that happen which are around $1000 - $2000 are technically optional I believe if you aren't financially able to pay them.

Damn nice. To get in your literally had to get all superiors. But I’m so sad my friends from other schools did worst than me but still got in.

my friend got 2 sups and 2 above averages and got in schs so it might be the 5% rule at ur school

Thank you for letting me know. my son is GWSC too. no wonder he hasn't received a offer too ! it doesn't matter. The report says your hard work. You guys are in a great school already. So don't lose heart. Good luck.

Damn, I thought my school was uncompetitive but around 40 kids tried out. Cohort is like 120 kids. I got two superiors (reading and verbal) 1 above average (maths) and a high average (numerical reasoning) and missed out on Suzanne Cory high school. I didn’t do any tutoring which wouldn’t of helped much either because a very big aspect of these exams were guessing, particularly in maths and numerical reasoning. For maths I’d recommend you to completely memorise the year 9 and kinda 10 curriculum. I didn’t expect maths to have logs, circle theorems and functions but here we are.... Numerical, be sure to revise lengthy worded problems as they’re are quite a few of those. Believe me or not luck accounts for 40% or more of this exam and especially because there were were only multiple choice questions and everyone I talked too guessed *majorly* on the numerical and maths even going to guessing 20-30 questions on each and a fair share going ahead and getting superiors in those. Don’t worry if you think you bombed the exam because I was expecting a below average on maths and ended up getting a decent above average which is honestly better than I expected. Goes to show that guessing goes a long way that or either everyone did terrible and I got scaled up lol. Verbal reasoning and reading comprehension were far too easy giving people who were better in maths and numerical a major opportunity to stand out from the pack which some may argue is unfair. (By some people I mean people who are good at English) At least I got a chance for John Monash.... let’s see hw this one goes.....
