I am trying out for Melbourne High School this year and my parents insisted on giving me tutoring.
So i had a choice between these two major tutoring places.
Which one more useful? How much? Plz give me some help, thanks in advance/ :P
AND HOW TO ENROL?

Hendersons, their practice exams are very similar (in some cases the same) as the entrance exams. I've seen so myself ;)

i think hendersons is better but it's more expensive

I went to hendersons. If they haven't changed the venue, it's pretty cramped.. but quality of material.. i liked! :D

I went to Hendersons when preparing for yr6 scholarship/AP programs (only for one practice exam though). They are expensive, but quite comprehensive.
I went to James An for a couple of months in yr8 for MHS. They are less expensive per exam, but you can get some dodgy teachers. Other than that, there are far more exams = far more practice. I actually preferred James An. To get in touch, find you nearest branch (use here) and give them a call, ask for the 'Trial Test 8' program.
Good luck :)

I went to this selective schools course back in the day. Whilst I didn't get into MHS (and didn't put enough effort into the study for it), I think the course was pretty good preparation. It's one-on-one tutoring for half the price too, so yeah maybe have a look at that if you want to look outside the 2 companies you've listed. :P

well, i'm now a bit biased to hendersons. i saw the price marks for these courses. They are SO expensive!!!!
i just purchased two half day courses, to see how they r like, haha

They are a bit harder than the real. They mark essays harder too.
