You are going to get mugged by me on Orientation day ...

Wait, I shouldn't have told you that, should I?

Can you remember to put your hand on your head so I know I am mugging the right person?  I hate to mug someone only to find out later that it is the wrong person and end up with a couple of bricks ...

Seriously, I think you have to get your laptop earlier as I remember reading somewhere that you have to bring your primary device to Orientation Day in December but I don't remember where it was that I saw that ...

hahahaha shieet, better watch out for you then mate! Haha, rlly with the laptop thing? Im considering lenovo yoga 2 pro.

That would be great laptop for me to have, mmm, I mean for you to have.  Seriously it looks like a great laptop and does everything except do your exams for you.  Not too sure about the battery life though as it does not seem to have an option for an extended battery so you will be stuck with the normal battery.  Otherwise if I had the money I certainly would get it.

Hey, thats what I was gonna do! Maybe we should work together? SKGUN11, watch out!

A new computer is nice, but it is not essential. Your computer can't be that bad. I'm bringing a 4 year old Lenovo thinkpad and it weighs a ton. Im not getting a phone or tablet either and I have an old HTC desire running android 2.

School will still be great and I'm looking forward to meeting all of you! :)

Sounds like a good idea!  Maybe we can run a chop shop for laptops and sell them off for parts and make a fortune!!

Good to see someone else who is not getting anything new, I was feeling a bit left out with all this talk of getting new devices.  I have a 3 year old laptop that I will be using for next year as well as an existing smart phone.  We should hangout together and see who has the best laptops and .........

You should definitely at least give it a go, apparently everyone is really keen to learn... A lot different to my school haha. My Preparation:

- Year 8 Science Quest revision & a few questions
- Year 9 Science Quest all questions, reviews and test
- Year 10 Science Quest light reading at night (Just in case one of the topics come up)
- 4 maths & 4 science ICAS tests on the weekend
- JAC selective class program (Extremely difficult, not a single >70% mark)
- Khan Academy light watching
- JAC extra revision material
- Year 9 Maths Essential most questions, reviews and test (Help from tutor)

Sooo... I'm looking at >2 hours of work a day  :'(. If I get in I'm sure it will all be worth it - LOL. But yeah, if you want to go into Science/Engineering definitely go for it :).

i just wanted to ask how long have you been preparing for and what is jac class program and one last thing, did you buy the icas practice tests
2017: Biology
