does advanced have to count towards atar??

hello :)
i, for some odd reason, feel like extension 1 and 2 english is alot more enjoyabe and kinda easier than english advanced.. so hypothetically, if i did better in ext 1 n 2 than i did in advanced - would only the former two units count?

in other words, when people say 2 units of english count, does this have to include advanced english? or can it also be my 2 ext subjects?

Hey! If a person did better in both Extension 1 and 2 English, then yeah, the mandatory 2 units of English that count would be made from those two. English Advanced would only count towards an ATAR if it was part of their next best 8 units :)
