Here are a few tips i can think of:

Pay attention to the basics: Knowing the basics (e.g. periodic table, mole equations, bonding) really helps, everything builds on this. Also, while in some subjects 1/2 is not too relevant to 3/4, this is not the case in chem - it really helps to have a good understanding of the 1/2 content.

Pay attention to the little things: Things like units, including states in equations, significant figures. They don’t seem important, but you don’t want to lose marks on things like this.

Do practice questions: More so for 3/4, but practice questions do help you understand the content at a deeper level and apply it, as well as helping you prepare for sacs and exams.

Think about how the different concepts connect: This helps you understand the content better. It also helps you in exams, which often include concepts from multiple areas of the course in one question.

Find out what works for you: If you haven’t found out what study methods work for you, try things out this year. This way, you’ll know what to do when you get to year 12.

Ask for help when you need it: Year 11 in general can be intense compared to previous years, so you don’t want to get too far behind. If you don’t understand something, don’t just leave it - chemistry builds on previous concepts, so make sure sure to ask for help early!

Videos: These are great for visualising processes, and having things explained a different way can really help. Kahn academy is great, or you can just search the concept on youtube.
