In 2019 I graduated VCE with a 94.65 ATAR and thought i'd share my exact scores
English (Average Cohort. Average Difficulty SACs):
Creative writing essay: 80%
Text response essay: 83%
Language analysis: 85%
Speech: 93%
Comparative analysis: 78%
Study score: A+, A, A. Achieved a raw study score of 38 scaled to 36.84
Further Maths (Slightly Above Average Cohort. Very difficult SACs):
Data analysis: 95%
Recursion and financial modelling: 98%
Matrices: 96%
Geometry and measurement: 98%
Exam 1: 100% and Exam 2: 98%
Study score: A+, A+, A+. Achieved a raw study score of 50
Mathematical Methods (Above Average Cohort. Difficult SACs)
Differentiation: 76%
Integration: 79%
Probability: 85%
Study score: B+, B, A. Achieved a raw study score of 36 scaled to 41.26
Geography (Probably the worst cohort in the entire state, SACs were also way too easy)
Land Use Change: 93%
Fieldwork report: 95%
Land Cover Change: 86%
Population dynamics: 97%
Growing and Ageing populations: 94%
Study score: B+, A, A+. Achieved a raw study score of 39 scaled to 38.02
French (Slightly below average cohort. Average difficulty SACs)
Listening task: 60%
Writing task: 75%
Reading comprehension SAC: 85%
Writing comprehension SAC: 85%
Detailed study written task: 65%
Detailed study oral task: 55%'
Study score: B+, C+, C+. Achieved a raw study score of 24, Scaled to 34.44, with only 3.44 added since it was my worst subject

This seems like a cool idea! I'll post some subjects for reference for future students.

Text response: ~7/10
Language Analysis: ~7/10
Creative: ~6/10
Comparative: ~8-9/10
Oral: ~4-5/10
SS: A, A, A+ 39 raw
Specialist Maths
Functions 1: 50%
Functions 2: 74%
Kinematics: 50%
Probability: 80%
SS: A, B+, B+ 36 raw
Japanese SL
Can't remember the SACs but average was around 83%
SS: A+, A+, A 37 raw
Just remember even if you don't do well throughout the year there's always a chance SAC scaling will save you so don't stop trying especially for the exams.

SAC 3 - 97% (stoopid financial)
SAC 4 - 100%
Both exams 100%
A+ A+ A+ - 50 SS

Just a note for anyone using this as a guide that sac moderation varies between schools and means that you could have exactly the same sac and exam marks as someone else and still end up with a different study score.

It's hard to say, this depends on the strength of the cohort and the difficulty of the SACS.
For example students A and B will both have an average of 80% in the SACs. Student A will get a ss of 33 where B will get 43. This difference is due to the fact that student A's school has relatively easy SACs compared to student B. In terms of exam performance, student B did better, hence their sacs are moderated accordingly.
Really, all VCAA looks at is your rank when it comes to SACS. As SACs across all schools are different and are different in terms of how they're marked, it's unfair to solely look at the mark.
