Title: Answering complex equations on simple calculators
Post by: PersianPrince21 on August 13, 2021, 11:14:39 pm
I'm in VCE 3/4 physics rn and was looking over these qs in my textbook and found they are very tedious to ans on sci calculator. (TI-30xb)

example qs: attached

equ: relative time equ. t=t0(gamma)

rn I am resolving it into different components and solving them before evaluating the final ans on my calc.

ie. first v^2/t^2 ----> then sqrt(1 - ans) ...

if you have any tips you could share for using simple calculators to solve large equations I would appreciate it.

Thanks,
