Title: Re: Taking Care of your Mental Health During Covid-19
Post by: Bri MT on March 30, 2020, 09:51:38 am
Hey,

There are a few places where a post like this could go and this is one of them :) .
I've also made a post here that's somewhat connected. There's also a Google doc linked here with links to a bunch of resources.

Information and support are great and I love that the AN community is out there trying to look out for each other.  I would also encourage anyone who feels their mental health might not be where they'd like it to be, or that it might be shifting towards the mental health disorder side of the spectrum to act early in terms of trying to pick up some protective factors and seeking professional help. You don't need to wait for a car to break down before taking it to the mechanic; it's ideal to get it serviced regularly rather than waiting for it to have issues with functioning. Similarly, you don't need to wait for a mental health crisis before trying to implement some positive changes and/or reaching out for help.

Take care everyone
