What is TuteSmart?
TuteSmart provides comprehensive and affordable online tutoring for HSC, QCE, and VCE students. Our new TuteSmart programs start soon!

Here is a quick overview of how TuteSmart works:

TuteSmart support

TuteSmart provides three main types of learning support:

🎓  Live Tutorial Classes: 90-minute tutorial classes for your subjects, live-streamed each week, where you can interact and ask questions. Every class is recorded, so you can re-watch them at any time.

🎓  On-demand Tutoring: Our online Instant Tutoring allows you to immediately connect to a one-on-one video call with one of our friendly tutors. It's available on-demand, after school and on weekends.

🎓  Online Private Tutoring: Students can book in one-on-one private tutoring sessions for any subject, at any available time. Our private tutoring is completely flexible and designed to help students learn and consolidate knowledge as and when needed.

What does a TuteSmart scholarship involve?
Successful applicants will be enrolled in classes for every single one of their subjects on offer for the duration of that year's program (to a maximum of six subjects).

Am I eligible for a TuteSmart scholarship?
To be eligible to apply, you need to:
a) be in the Class of 2021 - so Year 12/graduating next year; and
b) have made at least one post on the ATAR Notes Forums.

Apply for a TuteSmart scholarship:
Assuming you are eligible, please complete the relevant application form below by Friday 16 October, 2020. No applications after this date will be considered.

How many scholarships will be offered?
At least two overall.

How many times can you apply?
One time per user. Logically, the application you submit will be your best one.

On what basis are the scholarships awarded?
There are two main question prompts:
(1) Describe how you have contributed to the ATAR Notes Forums/community.
(2) How will you benefit from a TuteSmart scholarship?

Responses to these questions prompts will help inform the decision. Ultimately, it is up to our discretion.

How will recipients be notified?
All applicants, irrespective of whether they are awarded a scholarship or not, will be notified of the outcome via email.

Are these the only scholarships offered?
At this stage, yes.

Do you have to be in the Class of 2021 to apply?
Yes, these scholarships are only available to those in the Class of 2021.

Important details:
We will be offering at least two TuteSmart scholarships for ATAR Notes members. Accepting a scholarship will also make you a TuteSmart Ambassador. As part of this, you may be asked from time to time to participate in promotional or other content, such as articles, imagery, and video.

We will notify successful applicants via email. Please remember that the application deadline is Friday 16 October, 2020.
