You know how there's a general rule of 2 minutes per mark in legal, right?
Well in extended response questions like the 10 markers i can't stop at 20 mins. It's impossible to earn full marks within 20 mins, it usually takes me 25 or so minutes.
What about you guys? finnish in time?

You're right. Whilst the 1mark/ 2 minutes of writing is generally correct, in order to recieve full marks (20/20 as it is double marked, you need to write more proportionately). When i did the exam (and inspected my results) i got 20/20 and wrote for over 25 minutes.
When doing the practice exams you should be able to do many of the 1 or 2 mark questions in much less time, and even some medium length questions also.

yes exactly right. My short asnwer questions like the 2 markers usually take me less than a minute while the four markers take me like 2 minutes. So i think i can make up the time for the longer questions. Legaltutor, what you think is going to happen with this years exam since there are only 11 questions?

what do u mean there are only 11 questions? is that some new fact?

yes it is a recent fact. In the VCAA website, there is a link were it shows all the 2008 exam front covers. The legal exam has 11 questions. Worth 60 marks.
