We did this in the Monash thread a couple of years ago, but I thought it'd be pretty interesting for current and prospective students!

Basically, the idea is just to list all of the units you've completed at uni in order from favourite to least favourite. You can provide justification or a quick summary of each if you like! :D

Admittedly some can be hard to rank, but I'll start us off:

- ATS4230 Arts Honours Thesis (2016)
- ATS3673 History and Sociolinguistics of English (2015)
- ATS3681 Structure of English (2014)
- AMU1311 Sex, Gender and Knowledge (2015)
- ATS1338 The Language Game: Why Do We Talk the Way We Do? (2013)
- ATS2683 The Analysis of Discourse: Texts, Narrative and Society (2015)
- ATS3679 Psycholinguistics and Child Language Acquisition (2014)
- ATS2676 Sociolinguistics (2014)
- ATS3872 Topics in Indian Philosophy (2014)
- ATS2667 Language Across Time (2014)
- ATS1371 Life, Death and Morality (Introduction to Philosophy A) (2014)

I knew you'd comment on that. 😂

Nah, still enjoyed it - the only units I genuinely didn't enjoy were PSY1011 and PSY1022. I just preferred the Linguistics units slightly more. ;)

VanillaRice:
I've only done one year of uni, but I'll give this a go nevertheless  ;D

[Monash University] 2017:

* BMS1021 - Cells, tissues and organisms
Started out as my most difficult and least favourite biomed unit in sem 1, but ended up being my favourite (after I put effort into learning the content...) :D Gave a pretty good intro to the various different fields within biomedical science
* BMS1011 - Biomedical chemistry
* BMS1062 - Molecular biology
* BMS1042 - Public health and preventive medicine
Liked the biostatistics part, but unfortunately all the other biomed units were a bit more interesting  ::)
* CHM1022 - Chemistry II
Quite an interesting unit. Learnt a lot about how chemistry is related to everyday things :) The labs were quite fun as well (after I was able to work out where all the equipment was located...)
* MTH1020 - Analysis of change
Content was similar to that of VCE spesh, so found it quite easy to keep up. I actually found the way the content is taught in this unit is allows for a much deeper understanding of the material compared to that in VCE, in that everything is taught from first principles i.e. "we have a problem that we want to solve, and now we'll teach you how we can solve it". Definitely think this unit has improved my mathematical writing. We also learnt things not on the spesh course, which kept me interested :)
* ETC1000 - Business and economic statistics
Went into this unit expecting more of a mathematical focus, but it ended up having more of a real life, applications focus  ::)
* MKC1200 - Principles of marketing
This being at the bottom has nothing to do with my hate for marketing (well, not in most cases anyway...), but rather the topic itself being "out of my comfort zone" (it was a commerce core unit, so didn't really have a choice  :P).
Definitely looking forward to doing the rest of my biomed units!  ;D

Sine:
 ^don't you mean MTH1020 - Analysis of change  :)

and yeah BMS1042 is a bit of a meme
