Title: UNSW Engineering pathway
Post by: dermite on July 29, 2018, 09:10:43 pm
Hi there, when i went to the carrers expo in western sydney, UNSW said they have a program where if you get between 83 and 92.95 atar, if you show you likeness for engineering they might consider allowing you to enter the engineering course.
If anyone has any more information on this, suhc as how to apply, please help me out,.

Hey, dermite.

I believe you're referring to the FEAS program! Basically, if you think you will achieve an ATAR between 82.00 and 91.95, then you should apply for it. You will need to do a video submission (which imo is the most annoying part to this application) and to complete some questions. These questions are essentially just for the university to see whether you'd be fit for the engineering course you want to apply to.

Here's some info on the video submission! :)

There are two rounds, but it should be open in August (according to the UNSW representative at career expo).

According to the FEAS representatives on Open Day, they said it would open "next week." This was said on the 1st of September -_-

Tbh, I'm not sure when they'll update it because it's been more than a week since they said that applications will be open.

Hey there,
I just called the Future Students Centre and they said FEAS will be open by the end of this week. Hopefully, they're not gonna delay it because it's really annoying at how disorganised they are.

If it's not open by Friday I'm gonna call them again -_-

You guys should also contact the Students Centre and ask them about this.

I've called them today and they literally said the same thing: "It will be open by the end of this week." So I'm pestering them and tracking them down. I told them that's what they said last week and it's still not opened and they said they'll call me back again (I did get a call from a number but idk if it's them. I had tutoring anyway so I couldn't pick up).

Ok I called them again today and they said that the person in charge of FEAS is away at the moment and they'll be back by the end of this week so it should be opening soon. But they did mention a lot of people have been calling the Students Centre about FEAS so they don't have an exact date -_-

does anyone know of people who have got through the FEAS program?

it might be helpful to ask them about how they went about doing their video
