It depends on the year but I'd say at most you could lose 1 mark and get a 50 if you were lucky and had good SACs.

Basically on everyone year except 2006 you could drop 2 and get a 50. On the harder years 2013/2016 you could drop 2.5-3 and still get a 50. (assuming 100/100 sacs after scaling)

Oh, right I see thanks
so 100/100, 40/40, and 78+/80
what about a 25? would c sacs, 20/40, 20/80 be enough

Yeah kinda but I have seen people get 100+40+78 and get a 49. (really just will be on a year to year basis)

25 is like the bottom quartile. Those scores with maybe a slightly better exam 2 should be sufficient.

If you are aiming for a 50 just aim to ace everything.  :)

So, something like this
100+40+80 = 50 + premiers?
100+40+79 = 50
100+48+78= 49/50
100+40+77 = 49
100+40+76 = 48
100 + 40 + 75 = 47
100 + 40 + 74 = 46
100 + 40 + 73 = ~46
100 + 40 + 72 = ~46
100 + 40 + 71 = ~45
100 + 40 + 70 = ~44

Orb made this killer post last year : https://atarnotes.com/forum/index.php?topic=168559.msg917631#msg917631 which is definitely accurate for all the years the exams were of a moderate difficulty.

Hope this helps
