Title: Oxford textbook vs Jacaranda textbook for psych 3/4??
Post by: Butterflygirl on February 14, 2017, 07:33:27 pm
Hi guys,

I was just wondering what people thought of the jacaranda textbook and/or the oxford psychology 3/4 textbook. I don't really like the oxford one because there's not much information, even for massive topics like the nervous system, but I don't know if the jacaranda one is more detailed/less detailed?

Would really appreciate some opinions

Thanks so much! :)

I actually have no idea (sorry!), because I never took too much notice of textbooks, but a quick question:

I assume these textbooks are both updated for the new study design?

Yeah they're both updated but the oxford one is not very detailed.

I'm not greatly familiar with the new textbooks but in my experience the Jacaranda ones are very detailed (and more so than the Oxford text).
