Do earlier scholarship applications get priority?

Hello! No, provided you submit your application by deadline it is all equal (I even submitted mine a day late, emailed them, they were fine with it) :)

Would certifications attached to a scholarship CV be ideal or would they never be viewed? And are references required?

You're welcome! If you've got certifications, attach them! Worst case they never get viewed, best case they impress and you progress/get selected! Nothing to lose :)

References may be required, but it would depend on the scholarship :)
