Title: After Biomed
Post by: Minoaws on March 20, 2019, 11:56:50 pm
Hey everyone,
I’ll be graduating from Biomed this year and my current wam is not great (but I’ll be trying my best to increase it in this final year). I wanted to ask if anyone has any idea what I could do after this? Like are there any good post-graduate courses I could do other than of course medicine, dentistry or optometry?
Thanks

Beyond these three professions, there's a number of options. Undergraduate-wise, you can attempt Honours. Postgraduate-wise, you can try any of these that you satisfy (click the "graduate" box) or the ones you satisfy here. There may be more graduate courses in other areas not even in the biomed/science areas that you might like to attempt if your interests lie elsewhere e.g. Master of Teaching, which you can check out general graduate courses here.

Yeah I think biomed is pretty much just a science degree nowadays. So I believe you can apply for research and other scholarly type positions with the degree if further study is not appealing
