Listened to it a bit today - my early thoughts:

Best songs (including singles): Lay it on me, Like Gold, Call If You Need me, We're Going Home, One of These Days, Saturday Sun.

So like, the singles that were released before the album almost don't feel part of the album for me, because I already knew the words sort of thing, so when I listened to the first half of the album I was like "fuck was this Dream Your Life Away or is my brain just fried asf?" (obviously the latter), so the second half of the album was like, noiiiiice.

I'm loving "I'm With You". It's up there with Redeye on the "I'm going to burn this song into the ground by repeating it for the next 300 days". Bonnie and Clyde obvs is really nice with the amazing imagery in the song's intro.

Really nice album, I'm loving it. Little Boy or whatever it's all also lit.

Thoughts post-release day?

Missed the thread because I was doing O-week camp. Sorry to let you all down :'(

My favourites so far are Where We Start and One Of These Days, but honestly the entire album is perfect and my favourites will change over time. Definitely up there in terms of quality when compared to Dream Your Life Away.

edit: nice to see the ukulele make a return too, Bonnie & Clyde gives off vibes of pre-DYLA work
