Title: Sudden nostalgia???

Maybe it's because I'm almost at the end of my highschool life, but I've been super nostalgic about things recently. I'm rewatching all the TV shows I loved as a kid, I'm catching up with friends from primary school, and the other day at Coles I bought a ton of snacks that I only ate as a kid. Maybe it's just me looking back and seeing how much more I enjoyed things when I was younger, because every time I think of them I feel regretful that the choices I've made have actually made my life worse, and I want to go back to a better time. It's disgustingly sappy but I've acknowledged that I'm not happy with my life now.
Aside from the more serious stuff, I also just find it really funny, it's like I'm having a mid-life crisis but to a bigger extent than usual. Is this just me or...?

Funny that this topic gets brought up straight after I was retelling the story of how I got into reading via the Pony Pal Club series (when I was 4/5yo) 😅
