Hey!
What does everyone on AN use for backpacks for Uni, school etc?
Does anyone have any recommendations for good backpacks or messenger bags for Uni next year? Something able to fit a 13” laptop, iPad, notebook, lunch and other accessories. Don’t mind spending money on something high-quality.

Backpacks are super handy for uni, from my experience!
I've had a green Caribee backpack since mid-2017, which I got from Aussie Disposals for about $40- and the only wear I have on it is the little bits of fabric attached to the top of the zippers are starting to fray a little (doesn't stop the functionality of the zips by any means), if that helps inform your choice 😊

Would definitely recommend getting a backpack. I've got a couple of Herschel backpacks that I have been using over the past few years. This backpack is quite popular with university students from what I have seen. There is a tonne of space inside there and also a lot of subspaces for other things. E.g. A sunglasses compartment, laptop case. Also, they are quite lightweight on their own.

Definitely recommend a backpack. I use a High Sierra backpack (think I got it from Strandbags) - has a padded compartment for my laptop and tonnes of storage space. The back and shoulder straps are also really well padded. I can always fit food, a jumper, laptop, some books, chargers, etc. and honestly also use it as an overnight bag if I'm gonna be out of the house for a few nights!
