Title: Henry Lawson Short Stories
Post by: Natasack on September 30, 2020, 02:25:12 pm
What are the chances that we will be asked to write about the specific stories? I was planning to prepare only two. Is that risky?

Hey, Natasack!

It's highly unlikely that they will specify a story for Module A (specifying texts is usually more of a Module B thing for poetry). However, there is no harm in just being safe, rather than sorry. It would wise if you prepared at least one theme with 3-5 quotes for each of the other stories in the event that you get a question and it ends up suiting one of those short stories better :) The last thing you want is to come out of the exam thinking "if only I had prepared something for The Loaded Dog because that question was perfect for that text." Those are my thoughts and advice!
