Definitely helpful for Advanced as well! It's a ~120 page document, and about 15 pages of that is on the Advanced modules. The rest is AoS and skills (essay writing, approaching exams, etc). So over 90% of it is relevant to you, definitely VERY helpful (even for other essay subjects) ;D

definitely agree ^ pretty much all essay notes will help with other subjects, if you're doing modern/PDH/ancient/eco/soc, etc. etc. there's a really handy textbook called 'manipulate your marker' by mitchell grotte which has all the notes you could need for standard + advanced English and tips for essay planning, exam prep etc :) good luck!

is 'manipulate your marker' a worthwhile textbook?

I haven't used the book and I believe it is relatively new. A user on the forums spoke about it recently but I haven't heard any reviews! Have you seen a copy of it and flicked through? I'm interested to know what you think if you have. :)

Does anyone have any ideas where I could find notes or sample essays on 'Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon' for experience through language? I can't seem to find any and I am struggling to write my essays...
