Okay, if she's not your girlfriend, don't go over the top or she'll get freaked out :P $30 is more than enough to spend even for a girlfriend IMO.

disclaimer: I don't believe in V day and refuse to do the whole presents thing, so don't take my word for it =P

I may or may not end up composing a poem - just not sure if it's worth it because my poetry is pretty horrible.  xD

Not to mention, the whole concept seems cheesy as hell.  >.>

I think it's the cheesy kind of cute ^^ though it does depend on how long you've been going out... a romantic poem 3 weeks into a relationship just screams CLINGYAXEMURDERER

I'd really treasure a gift someone obviously put a lot of effort into (rather than just rushing out last minute and buying a bunch of roses etc.)

Ah, I'm so over Valentines Day. It's just an excuse for teenagers to get their hearts broken.

Disclaimer: I'm not doing anything for valentines, and it doesn't bother me. I just see a lot of people get all emotional and spill their guts to the "love of their life" and get rejected. But I guess I'm also over valentines because the only guys who ever like me tend to be rather creepy...

WTF! I thought you were a guy, since the majority of physics students are guys (In my physics lecture there was maybe 8 girls).

That didn't sound sexist, did it? If so then sorry.

Anyway I think the majority of teens won't celebrate valentines day, I'm going to just play video games today.

Also by the Wisdom of Charlie Sheen "don't buy someone any gift that can be used as a weapon if your going to break up".

Appianway why didn't you do specialist maths? If you aced physics then you would have done well with specialist maths.

Don't remind me about not doing Specialist Maths. I should've done it; Methods bores me to death. There's also the fact that I've covered most of the specialist course anyway...

I wish I could've just taken it as an extra subject this year, but it's not allowed at my school.

Yeah I was going to say that if you are doing UMEP physics, then you would be using a tiny bit of specialist maths in it.

Played for 20 weddings today. If I have to play Here Comes the fucking Bride one more time I will decapitate something.

Highlight of the day: not 2 mins after signing the marriage certificate, bride/bride's family/groom/groom's family gets into an argument over who gets to be the witnesses. Lololol.

Yup, it's almost 3 times what I earn in my current law-related job. When I told my (Asian, you'll-never-make-money-doing-music) parents this they told me to stfu :(

Another interesting observation: I witnessed about 7-8 people start crying in the middle of their vows. All of them were grooms; the brides all remained stoically calm. Ahem. :P

Haha she loveddd the charm :P She ended up coming to my house since I live next to the beach and because her brothers were home lol.
Watched a movie (American Pie LOL) with her on my lap haha :P and then we went to the beach and canoodled there lol ;).. it was great!
She had new year stuff to go to with the family that night though (she's asian, I'm aussie).
