Title: Subjects selections MHS

I'm thinking about moving to mhs for year 11 next year and am thinking of doing two externals there. I'm thinking of doing Units 3/4 Chinese SL for year 11 and Latin 3/4 for year 12 as externals. However, I have never done Latin Units 1/2.  Is it possible for me to do 3/4 latin as an external subject at mhs for year 12 and study units 1 and 2 privately without the school knowing in year 11?

If only getting in to MHS was that easy - especially in Year 11.

Have you learnt Latin before? I don't think Latin or any LOTE is possible to straight up pick up at Units 1/2, you can try though.

I'd be hesitant in lying to the school. Other students have done similar things in the past and I know admin made their lives very difficult, best to be open about it.
