Would Monash uni like it if we did uni Chem, and does uni chem help us with 3/4 chem?

Dunno what you're trying to say here, so I'll try my best to answer.

You may remember from the Monash Uni Extension Open Night that one of the speakers, Perkins told us about how his experience of doing uni chem while doing 3/4 chem really helped his studies, specifically the depth of his understanding, and further opened doors for him later in uni as he was already known in the department.

Specifically he told us about a  research camp thing that only later year (2nd/3rd year iirc) uni students could do, but as he was known in the department he got a back-door into it as a first year student.

As I personally am not undertaking the chemistry course nor have I completed it I can only work off what he's told me, but I don't see why doing more chemistry in the form of Monash extension would be anything but a boon to your studies.
