Does anyone know the difference between stratified and stratified random sampling? I'm super confused :-\
Is there even a difference or are they the same thing?

Hi!

Stratified-random sampling is a type of stratified sampling where you randomly sample from each stratum/subgroup. Theoretically, you could have other types of stratified sampling where non-random (e.g. convenience) sampling is used for the strata/subgroups

Hope this helps :)
