These are so helpful.
My bag was stolen (with my laptop in it) on the last day of school and all my bio notes were lost. I made the mistake of not backing them up :-[ Very silly I know.
But these have saved me from having to write my notes from the start.

I'd like to point out the the Biology notes up for sale now have been updated, so in case you thought the other one were either too long or want an updated version for the Biology notes, then swing "BUY" the shop and pick up the Biology Notes Edition 2.

Hey thanks so much for these first off! Dont know why i didnt see them until now but oh well im still learning :D
Is "Evidence for Evolution" an option?? Because we have already got the 3 cores, but i havent ever heard of this option before..

Btw my Bio Notes and the ones I bought after swinging "buy" on the lecture day {skidous 8)) are both band 6 (the ones i didnt buy where from my sibling who got a band 6) and im currently sitting on a band 5 so im more than happy to post my notes up when i get time/energy/motivation/all of the above 😂

I know right! I find communication the hardest topic of the 4 we have to do. But if you are struggling, i have very sources of notes so feel free to ask any questions or I could possibly post them up (although they are written atm)

Got my Biology Notes Edition 2 in the mail on Monday and I ordered it on Thursday, let's say that the delivery time is really short, I wasn't expecting to have them before my Bio Trials but I do. Really comprehensive I definitely recommend you if need something to read over to grasp the concepts in the core modules or just something to kick start your own notes.

Haha i got it at the Trial Survival Lectures at UTS a few weeks ago. You know what they say, but its true, "The devil's in the detail" (If i had a dollar for every time i heard that over the lectures i wouldnt have to do my HSC or go to work ;D)
But on a serious note, these notes are amazing! (Thanks Naomi!) So comprehensive and cover all the syllabus points needed. Diagrams and tables and pretty pictures included :P

Hahaha this is why I love atarnotes so much!! (bos is like google now- all information but no humour. Atarnotes is like siri- informs you of actually relevant stuff and gets sassy/hilarious)

I have designed a seperate forum thread where we can talk about the exam but I used up half a tissue box during the exam so it took me almost the whole 3 hours!! (Well, 2 1/2 plus a 4 marker in the option i forgot to answer till later)

Literally made a worksheet of six kidneys unlabelled - If you finish all of them and STILL don't remember the structure? You got to be kidneying me ;)
Oh and also if you're doing communication - there's diagrams of the eye you can practise and label too :D

Welcome to the forums! The link above indeed has a heap of useful stuff, though not all will be relevant to the new syllabus. We're going to be working really hard to get a heap of notes on the new course as the year goes on ;D
If you are looking for some proper, edited, polished notes, then these are a great choice! They do cost $25, but if you are looking for a resource similar to it and don't mind spending an hour or twos pay from work, then worth a look :)

Can totally vouch for these notes Kate, although they aren't my syllabus I use the first edition for bio and my rank went from 16th to 2nd. 100% worth it.

NEW SYLLABUS NOTES
Year 10 Notes with Foundational Concepts
Simple and easy to understand definitions and concepts for Prelim and HSC Bio
Genetics and Evolution
Ignore the lower rating - these notes are a good summary of Year 10 content and although they don't have enough detail for year 11/12, they're good to have a quick look at
Preliminary Biology
ATARNotes Lecture Summary of All Prelim Content - an obvious 10/10 :)
Module 1
Very thorough notes complete with diagrams and mind maps
Really good notes. However for topics such as osmosis, I would recommend cutting straight to the chase with a definition e.g. Osmosis is the passive movement of a solvent (such as water) from an area where it is in high concentration to where it is in low concentration (down a concentration gradient). This makes it super clear to the marker that you know what you're talking about.
Simpler notes and easy language to grapple with - needs a few more details but still great.
