okay what kind of bag do you take to uni? I wanna take my 13" laptop but I also have to take two really thick books every day. any suggestions for a good bag/backpack

Get a decent backpack, but it'll be kinda pricey. Some of the places on Smith St in fitzroy are having sales about now. Shoulder bags are terrible if you need to carry more than lecture notes/pen, especially if you're taking a laptop.

You dont need to bring the big books for the subjects everyday, they are for reference or pre-reading and so do it from home - otherwise it's too much of a hassle! So you could even just use a bigger laptop bag that can squeeze in lecture notes/stationary if you wanted.

On the topic of laptops, is there enough space in lectures for a 15.6" laptop and mouse space? lol my touchpad doesnt work :p

the thing is i have a lot of big gaps which i'm going to use to study and stuff.
