It's ATAR Notes tradition! ;D

Now that the end of exams for 2021 is in sight for some students, you might start to reflect over the next little period. The next month or two can feel like a pretty long wait, so why not fill the time a little by predicting your results for each subject, and then for the ATAR overall? When the time comes in December, you can then compare your estimations to the real thing. :) Use this thread to come back and revise your predictions if they change over the next few weeks!

Have at it below. :)

I’m only in Year 11, but I did Methods 3&4 this year. I’m usually a really high achiever and was hoping for at least 45 raw. I think I stuffed the exam, so I’m praying for a 40+ but I might end up getting 38 or 39  :'(

Religion and Society, I think I am gonna end up smack bang 40 but we will see.
Rank 2/13 with 74% in unit 3, 79% in unit 4 and 85% in the exam in a strong cohort.
Edit: Did exam...yeah no way i get a 40. Maybe a 35?

I can't resist an ATAR prediction

English – 40 (not sure about 40+ but hopefully close to a 40 since the exam went okay)
Further Math – 30 (lol im hoping for a 30+ since i bombed the exams)
Psychology – 41 (exam went pretty well but not sure abt sacs, could be lower tbh)
Legal Studies – 39 (really really wanted like a 45 but not sure now after the exam)
VCD – 32 (since i did better than i thought i did with the SAT)
+ 43 in HHD from last year

Predicted ATAR = around 93

🤞🤞🤞

A bit scared I'll be disappointed on results day. My predictions (for raw scores) are:

Methods: 40? (Maybe high 30's).
Chem: 43-45
Lit: 40-45
Spec: 29-32

With bio last year and a 4.5 extension increment I'd love a 97.

Raw scores:
Biology -> 40 (did this in year 11)
Chemistry -> 44 - 47. Actual result: 50 raw (holy shit)
Physics -> 43 - 45. Actual result: 43 raw
VET IT -> 47 - 49. Actual result: 49 raw
English -> 37 - 40. Actual result: 38 raw
Methods -> 42ish. Actual result: 40 raw

Atar: Hoping for something around 98

And yep, my prediction was about right. Got a 98.6

I've gotten through 4/5 of my exams this year so far! These will be raw scores but bear in mind I'm terrible at predicting.

Raw scores:
English: Hoping for a solid 40 (might be lower depending on SACs)
Specialist: 40 (I hope, anything goes after that disastrous Exam 2)
Physics: 42
Chinese SL: 38 (may be lower depending on SACs too)
Uni Maths: Hoping for a 4.5

Last year I got a raw 42 for Methods.

These subjects will all scale pretty high. I guess I would be elated with a 99+ ATAR.

I think I did fairly well in my exam and I am happy with myself for giving it a red hot crack.

English Language: Happy with a 35+, I think I might get a 36

Maths Methods: Happy with low 40's, I think I might get 42

Chemistry: Same with methods

Physics: Same with methods and chemistry

Software Development: Kinda don't care but a 40+ would be nice, though I think I might get a 36

Hope everyone else is happy with the effort they put in and the scores they get.
