Title: Transferring into Melbourne.

I'm just wondering about the specifics about the Melbourne Model.  Degrees such as Law, Medicine, etc. are strictly post-graduate now, but do you have to do your undergraduate at Melbourne, or can you transfer in from other universities? 

Also, how hard is it to get into Melbourne Law now, exactly?

You can apply for a Melbourne graduate/post-graduate degree after doing your undergrad stuff at a different university. It's not really transferring as such, since it's a different course altogether.

I would say it would be quite competitive to get a spot in Melbourne's JD after 2010. They'll offer 100 places, half of which are full fee. Fortunately, other universities offer the JD such as Monash, RMIT and I think LaTrobe (I'm not sure on that one) as well as ANU. However, I think they're all full-fee (again, I'm not sure).
