Title: Maths, Chemistry and Physics Tutoring
Post by: sb3700 on February 04, 2009, 11:15:28 pm
Update: no tutoring spots currently available. Feel free to email me if you are interested but I can't guarantee anything.

My name is Sahil and I’m offering tutoring in Maths (Methods CAS/non-CAS, Specialist and UMEP), Chemistry and Physics, and I can also help you in IT (either branch) or VET Multimedia as well. All these can be at a Year 10 level or higher.

I live in Mentone/Parkdale/Cheltenham area and lessons could be held at Parkdale library, though other options are possible.

I completed VCE last year (2008) at Mentone Grammar, and was the Dux at my school. My raw results were:

Physics50
Maths Methods (CAS)50
VET Multimedia50
Specialist Maths49
IT Software Development 49
Chemistry45
UMEP Maths5.50

for an ENTER of 99.85.

I have many years of experience helping my friends and classmates in all of these subjects, both inside and outside class, as well as tutoring junior classes.

My emphasis is not on formulae and facts, but on understanding the underlying concepts. This will allow you to tackle any new problems you encounter with confidence.

I charge about $40/hour with group discounts available.

Contact me by email [email protected], or pm me for more information.

Let me help you achieve your best this year.

Sahil

I think I know who this is (went to my tutor, but in a different class so I saw him a few times) and I definitely endorse his Maths skills. Don't think this needs to be said anyway, his scores speak for itself.
