Post by: physics on January 06, 2010, 01:17:22 pm
I was wondering since ATAR is going to take over 'vce' then what would happen to this sites name ??? :D

ATARnotes.com?
and doesn't it mean that this site would be open to people who live across australia... not just victorians?

I'm not sure about the name but with regards to the site, it will still mostly be dominated by Victorian students since it is only a name change - not a whole revamp of the Australian education system (or at least not yet).  So the class of '10 will still be competing with mostly Victorian students anyway.

I think it'll still be called the VCE, however when the national curriculum comes into place then the site will need a name change :P On the upside, there would be way more traffic.

... On the upside, there would be way more traffic.

I hope our servers would be able to cope with that much demand should the time arise.  I and I'm sure most others would agree, laggy servers *coughs* BoS *coughs* aren't the way to go.
