Hi, umm i know this is a vce forum, but i would like to ask a question related to primary school.
Im in year 6 - last year of primary school is it possible to fail in primary school my friends says u cant faill even if u dont know much
is it true?

haha i think being held back a year in primary school would be one of the hardest things to achieve. unless you didn't go to school.
year six is actually such a waste of a year, basically doing nothing, how can you fail nothing?

Just make sure you nail your end of year 6 exams.
Unfortunately until you get to year 12 your whole existence is pointless. You cant go anywhere or do anything. year 7-10 is only to bide time while youre going through puberty (funny word, puberty lulz). Seriously. Halfway through year 7 your balls drop. Year 8 and year 9 youre feral. Year 10 you start to re-domesticate. By year 11 you will have a base with which you can build upon.

Exams? What exams? I've never done real school exams in my life! (apart from y8 lauriston). First set of exams from then coming up mid-year this year :(

My first exams were in year 11, for every subject, midyear and end of year. Stupid exercise that was. Winged all of them. I think there were year 10 exams but I just took the days off. :P Its funny, despite my shit attitude all the way up until this year, I dont have any regrets at all. Every year other than year 12 is completely pointless.

Wow, I was in school in the UK up until year 10, there it's the norm to start exams in year 7. In fact the very first exams (which are like a NAPLAN equivalent) are in year 2

Don't worry about failing year 6! I think it's actually impossible.
Seriously though, just relax. Take hold of all of the opportunities that you can - enter competitions, be involved in community events, anything. I regret that I didn't do more of that back when I had the chance.

i know a guy that was in grade 4 when i was in grade 3 and he got held back..so when i was in grade 4 he was still in grade 4 .it was pretty sad..so he left our school
