yea i dont get it...  as long as its grouped under the right place, like an ethics discussion isn't under the English language section.

Debates like this has been going on since VN's creation. Back then it was a few of us oldfags who argued between each other when we were young and stupid and couldn't see the whole picture. Some of us have since become much less active, but the tradition carries on, with oldfags arguing against some of our younger [and very intelligent] members on controversial topics.

Now, if you don't mind, this is a bad pun in a bad board at a bad time, I intend to lock this as it contributes nothing to News and Politics.
