Title: do you know a teacher that wrote a vce textbook?

Post by: TrueTears on March 02, 2009, 07:53:23 pm: lol one of the books that was written had mistakes in the answers everywhere... pretty bad actually, but the other one was really really good, the answers even had explanations of how do to the questions. Best of all, if you don't get something just go find them and ask them yourself XD

As long as your teacher goes to like VCAA meetings and things like that to get the most information they can, then I think you'd be right, whether they wrote a textbook or not lol.

Well it depends on how you look at it. I have asked a few teachers on their opinion about this and some of them say that they are very knowledgeable people but in the their opinion, they can't really convey the information to students.

Of course, what is posted above is just the opinions of a small group of teachers.

Post by: BlueYoHo on March 03, 2009, 05:30:47 pm: The person that wrote the Religion and Society Exam, and apparently helped write other R.E text books is a teacher in my school. I don't have her for any classes, but last year before the R.E exam she came and gave us a few pointers, etc.

Thing is i had David for maths and never did anything in my class:P

I thought teachers aren't allowed to write vcaa exams.
