What's your New Year's resolution? :D
Mine would be ...
Get my Ps
Get a job
Become a better person/less lazy
Attend class more often
Sleep earlier?
-
I never really understand this, if you want to improve yourself why do you wait for the new year?

+1
But I understand the notion of setting goals for a particular year.
For example, I'd stab somebody if I didn't pass my driving test for my P's this year! ;D

I think it's convenient. You know if you've kept your resolutions if you are still doing them on the 31st of December 2011.

I think those are good goals apart from "become a better person/less lazy". It's an admirable goal, it's just that it's difficult to measure and you can't break it down into smaller goals to try and achieve it. If if was something like 'spend an hour a day studying five days a week', you'd have a better idea of how you're progressing.

Hmm... I don't really have a resolution. I'm in a good place right now, and feel like I'm already out pursuing everything I want to achieve.
I suppose... my short-term goal over the next two months is to bring my Japanese back up to scratch... I haven't studied any Jap since November, and told myself I'd get back into it in January, after the festivities.
My long-term goal for this year will be to challenge my comfort zones... go outside my box =) I'm determined to make the most of the opportunities afforded to me this year.
