Title: Would you recommend a 'Smartpen' for Uni/VCE?
Post by: ohmyjosh on December 30, 2010, 02:55:17 pm
Hi! Just wondering what you think of this nifty item and if you would recommend it to a VCE or a Uni student?..

Apparently they're on sale (50% off!) at Ebay today! :D

Thanks in advance! :)

I cant speak for University but for VCE I reckon its overkill.

Wouldn't something like a Spirax Note Book and a normal pen suffice for note taking?

Completely unnecessary for uni, lectures are usually recorded for you to listen to later.

Regular ink/paper is the best note taking tool

Short answer: No!

Why? Because if you have a notepad and pen then that's one part of this 'smart pen taken over', then as for audio recording at uni 'some' lectures are recorded if they aren't and you have an audio recording device (i.e. iPhone, tape recorder, etc) then that's the other part is covered.
