Okay so I'm thinking of doing Methods 3/4 next year (yr 11); should I also do further maths 3/4 as well?

further is seriously a pain. its deceivingly easy and in the exam you're always pressed for time. but i guess you could if you want and if your not ok with your mark, you can always repeat it in year 12

Overall is it like year 10 maths? or much harder than that?

Further math is generally taken if you are not strong in math, yet need it as a prerequisite. If you are strong in math do specialist...

He always has the option of doing further and methods earlier (or just further) and then spesh (and methods)in yr 12, but not all 3 maths can be in the top 4 then. I did/are doing all three maths, further in yr11 and now spec and meth in yr 12. Further was easy and gave me a chance to go through the whole process of studying for exams and sitting an actual VCAA exam. A trial run for this year. Plus I got 44 in the bag. I'm not sure if doing not spesh and meth in the same year would disadvantage you are not. What does everone else think?

Not gonna lie, I'd have done it in year 11 along with methods just to be with friends. :)
