Hey guys.
I was just planning to go to Derrick Ha's lecture, but what are some of the other companies you would recommend?
-
Connect Ed?
Other than that the others are just the usual company lectures (NEAP/TSFX/TSSM etc)
-
Oh i forgot about connect :-\
I doubt i'll go to TSFX or TSSM though.
-
Also, just to add to this. As the Derrick Ha lectures/books are seperate now, do you think it's mandatory to get the book for the lecture?

Dunno, in previous years the lectures have been somewhat based around the books, but he can't expect people to buy it - even if the majority of people will. Anyway, I think that is the highlight of Derrick's lectures, his books are like nothing I've ever seen.

I'll be honest, Derrick Ha's lectures are probably the most entertaining/informative ones out. He keeps you engaged throughout the whole thing, always refers to examples, gives exam/calculator tips, and overall it's almost enjoyable to attend his lectures. Check his endorsements on his website, you'll actually find quite a few VN'rs on there :P
As for recommending others, I haven't really experienced any of them, but you should check into the actual lecturer before you decide, don't just go with the reputation of the company.

Saw a few people from my school in the endorsements and i'm pretty sure i saw your name there :P
I might go to it as i'm already booking methods with a few friends, and then just go with Connect Ed for Chem/Physics.
